Blue Valley Northwest guard Alston Mason seeing more coaches get involved

Blue Valley Northwest (KS) guard Alston Mason has recently become a target for a lot of coaches as of late, and it’s all because of his progression as a floor general.

“Four or five different schools including Kansas State, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Tulsa and Southern Illinois have reached,” he explained. “They all felt like they love how I can get downhill and score for myself or get my teammates involved. They also said they love my leadership and playmaking ability.”

Southern Utah and Nebraska recently offered, giving him his third overall scholarship. Abilene Christian and UMKC have also offered with interest coming from Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Tulsa, Kansas State, Southern Illinois, South Dakota State and Bradley.

At this moment, he is wide open and listening to all schools. A commitment in the near future seems unlikely as more schools continue to get involved. I expect you to hear his name a lot more in the future.
