2021 Cobden (IL) wing Noah Franklin is a player that coaches like due to the mismatches he can create. At 6-foot-7, Franklin can play multiple positions and that’s why so many coaches are involved.
“Coaches have told me that they like how I can pose mismatches for other teams because I’m 6’7” and can shoot,” Franklin said. “Plus they have told me they really like how I can see the floor and pass the ball.”
As of now, Northwest Missouri State, Grace College, Southwest Baptist, Marian University, Maryville University, Kentucky Wesleyan, Northern Michigan, McKendree and Pittsburgh State are all recruiting him.
Including IUPUI, who just offered him and will pursue him hard.
“As of right now, my relationship with them is pretty fresh,” Franklin explained. “They really seem like great people up there and really love basketball.”
Spearheading the recruitment of Franklin is head coach Byron Rimm II and assistant coach Aaron Evans.
Going into his last year of high school basketball, Franklin is looking forward to helping his team win while also getting better before the college level. Right now, two things are his main focus headed into his last season, in terms of his game.
“I feel that I really need to tighten my handles and work on my defense,” he said. “That will help me to be a lot better.”
