Greenfield (NC) freshman point guard Jordan Vick just picked up his first scholarship offer from Wake Forest a few days ago.
The super talented freshman told me Wake Forest, Rutgers and Georgia Tech are all involved early in the process. It’s a humbling feeling but Vick knows this is just the start.
“I just got to keep working,” Vick explained. “I’m proud of myself but it isn’t over yet. The goal is to get to the NBA.”
Vick will be graduating in 2024 so his recruitment is far from over. If the early offer is any indication, Vick could be one of the best guards in his class. He’s working hard to ensure he’s among the best and can help his team win, and he’s doing that by working on his offensive game.
“Just elite moves and finishes,” he said of what he’s working on. “Combos into my three point shot.”
