2023 Tabor Academy (MA) wing William Lobor is a player that has garnered a lot of attention from college coaches early in his career.
He recently received offers from Tennessee State and Missouri State with interest coming from Penn State, Dayton, VCU, Alabama A&M, Howard, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Northwestern, he confirmed.
At 6-foot-7, Lobor has an intriguing skill set that he believes will continue to attract coaches at the high major level.
“Coaches like how I’m able to use my size to stretch the floor and my ability to play and guard multiple positions,” he said. “And I have great court vision for my size.”
Lobor can play a versatile point-forward role early on in his career, and that’s something he wants more coaches to see moving forward. He’s working on plenty of aspects of his game but the focus is on the offensive end, where he can really set his mark as a player that can score from anywhere.
“Having a steady schedule with workouts throughout the day to maintain skill and awareness,” he said of what he’s looking to improve. “Working constantly on my jump shot and handle.”
Note: college coaches cannot directly reach out to 2023 student-athletes until June 15, 2021. The programs that have offered and/or interested have contacted his coaches
