2021 guard Ethan Roberts nearing decision

2021 guard Ethan Roberts of John Hersey (IL) recently received an offer from Lafayette, a program, he says, he has a good relationship with so far.

“My relationship with LaFayette is strong,” Roberts explained. “I really like the whole coaching staff. Coach O’Hanlon is a legendary coach in the Patriot League. He also has a very strong connection with my AAU coach that I am close with.”

Lafayette along with Army, Furman, Navy, UC San Diego, Drake, Mount St. Mary’s, North Dakota, UMKC and others are currently him and a lot of them enjoy the versatility he can bring at the next level.

“Coaches like my height at my position and like versatility,” he said. “I’m a 6’5 combo guard that can play the one through three and also guard the one through three on defense. Coaches always love my shooting and passing ability as well.”

With his senior year winding down and college right around the corner, a decision seems to be near. While Roberts didn’t have a specific date, he did have a timetable in mind.

“I’m definitely narrowing down and starting to get in decision mode,” he said. “I would say here in the next month or so I’m committing.”
