A name to watch in the class of 2024 is Brandin Cummings, a 6-foot-3 guard from Lincoln Park (PA). He recently added his first Division I scholarship offer from Bryant and will undoubtedly add more in the future.
“It was great,” he said of getting his first offer. “It feels good to finally get some recognition but I have to keep working hard because now there’s a target on my back.”
The talented freshman helped Lincoln Park win a WPIAL title with his game-high 22 points in the Class 4A Championship. He also got his first start in the quarterfinals and dropped 18 as result. His scoring touch is undeniable and that should help his recruitment moving forward.
“I feel like I can shoot it really well,” he said. “I can handle it well and I can my teammates better offensively and defensively.”
As of now, the work continues and Cummings is doing his best to make the most of his skill set.
“I’m just working on my weaknesses,” he explained. “I need to keep working until my skill set is perfect.”
