2023 West Ranch (CA) wing Andrew Meadow has always viewed himself as a Division I prospect and this week college coaches agree.
Since June 21st, Meadow has received seven scholarship offers from the likes of Cal Poly, Fresno State, Loyola Marymount, San Francisco, Southern Utah, UNLV and Washington.
“I was definitely shocked,” he said of his week. “But, it made me feel good that my work is paying off. It also gave me more motivation to work harder.”
He already had an offer from Washington State bringing his overall total to nine with more possible offers on the way.
“Coaches have said they love that I am an all around player and position less,” he explained. “Also my work ethic and my motor on the floor.
USC, TCU, Pepperdine, San Diego State, UC Riverside, Montana, San Diego, Duquesne, Portland, Air Force, Northern Colorado and UCSB are all showing interest and will be following his progress.
He has plans to take a few unofficial visits to San Francisco and LMU at some point next week, he confirmed. More could happen in the future but for now, it’s back to the gym to work on his game.
“I’m definitely talking more,” he said of what he’s working on. “And getting my handles and my release quicker.”
