2022 point guard Ryan Duncan of U-High (IL) recently received his second Division I scholarship offer from Radford and has started to hear from a lot more programs as he heads into his final summer and senior season.

The Highlanders are now the second program to offer the 6-foot-2 guard from Illinois joining Loyola (MD).

“The relationship is real good. I’m thankful for them believing in me,” he said of Radford. “James Haring especially is a great guy and I look forward to continuing to get to know them and the school.”

Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Cornell, NJIT, Belmont, Delaware, Lafayette, Lipscomb, Rice and Bucknell are all showing heavy interest.

“Coaches like my feel for the game, basketball IQ and my ability to create for my teammates are things that separate me and are parts of my game I take pride in,” he explained. “As well as the ability to score efficiently and effectively from all three levels.”

As the summer live period picks up next month, Duncan should be in line to pick up a few more offers. To prepare for that, he’s been improving his game.

“I’m continuing to expand my game and prepare to play at the next level,” he said. “Developing my body to become a better athlete and focusing on my weaknesses.”
