2024 Christ the King (NY) guard Dwayne Pierce is a tough, physical prospect as an incoming sophomore and has the opportunity to be one of the best on the East coast when it’s all said and done.

He recently added offers from UAB and LSU to go with previous offers from George Washington, St. John’s, New Mexico State and Nebraska.

“I was thrilled about it,” he said of his recent SEC offer from LSU. “Extremely blessed and excited.”

LSU is a system that is appealing for his prototype, so he was happy to get the opportunity to play in the system.

“I love their system,” Pierce explained. “I love coach [Will] Wade’s coaching abilities and how they play. I also study how one of their players play and I try to model my game after him [Cam Thomas].”

Pierce is a player on coaches radar early due to his overall game. He’s reliable on both ends of the floor and he’s only going to get better.

“I’m a very good facilitator,” he said. A good shot created and a very good shot blocker.”
