Incoming junior Davion Hill has the potential to be one of the breakout prospects this summer.
Hailing from St. John Neumann (PA), the point guard recently picked up an offer from Maryland and has a lot more programs showing interest.
“Every time I go there they treat me like family,” he said of Maryland. “I have a very great relationship with them and the players. It already feels like home.”
Kent State, Towson and Missouri State have also offered him a scholarship with programs such as Purdue, La Salle, Mount St. Mary’s and Penn showing interest.
A lot of coaches like his ability to score. According to the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, Hill was the first area sophomore to reach 1,000 points since 2006 and he reached 1,000 points faster than any player in his area. But they also like his command of the offense and how he’s able to get the best out of his teammates.
“Coaches like the confidence I have in all the players around me to knock down shots,” he said. “They also like my defense.”
The 2023 prospect is definitely worth the watch and should start seeing a lot more programs get involved following the live period.
