Jonathan Beagle ready to show versatility in July

The more coaches see of St. Thomas More (CT) forward Jonathan Beagle, the more opportunities he seems to get.

His most recent scholarship offer came from Vermont, adding to his already long list of suitors that include offers from Bryant, Iona, Stetson, Pittsburgh, Siena, UMass and Albany.

“It’s great,” he said. “I’ve dreamt of this my whole life and everything is finally coming together.”

Beagle is a 6-foot-9 forward that can play multiple positions. He has the ability to put pressure on defense and that’s why so many scholarship offers have flown his way recently.

“Coaches like that I can play inside out,” Beagle explained. “I’m versatile, and I play hard with a high motor.”

Heading into the live period, Beagle will be playing for the City Rocks (NY) on the Nike EYBL circuit. So far he’s played well this summer but heading into the Peach Jam, he’s just hoping coaches can his improvement.

“I definitely want to show coaches that I can play multiple positions,” he said. “That I’m a winner and my versatility.”
