There will be plenty of coaches in the building this live period to see 2023 Clear Brook (TX) point guard Marcus “Smurf” Millender.
He recently received three scholarship offers from the likes of Lamar, South Alabama and Oakland, and more could be coming soon.
“I’m just blessed to be in this position,” he explained of his current recruiting situation, which can only get better from here.
UT Arlington, Colorado, Boise State, Sam Houston State, North Dakota, California Baptist and Wake Forest are also recruiting him and expect to see him during this live period.
They will have the opportunity to see what a lot of others coaches have already saw, and that could prove to be a good thing for the rising junior.
“Coaches sayI play with a high level pace,” he said. “They also like the way I control the tempo of the game by finding open guys and making the right reads.”
“They also like that I’m a dawg.”
Millender’s recruitment is just starting to pick up and he’s willing to listen to every coach at this point.
