
Cayden and Cameron Boozer, the children of 13-year NBA vet Carlos Boozer, got to showcase their skills in the Hugh Thimlar Tribute at the 2021 City of Palms Classic and they certainly didn’t disappoint.
Cayden finished with a team-high 21 points, six rebounds and three assist, while his brother Cameron finished with 12 points, 13 rebounds, five assist and four blocks.
Their team, Christopher Columbus got the win 67-31 over SW Florida Christian.
The pair combined for 33 points, 19 rebounds, 8 assist and 5 blocks, finishing with more points, assist and blocks combined than their opponent.
Calvary Christian dispatched Greensboro Day 62-43 handing them their first loss of the season. Calvary Christian led by as much as 19 in their blowout win to open the City of Palms led by Michigan commit Gregg Glenn III, who finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Milton (GA) combo guard Kanaan Carlyle finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and five steals in their win over Charlotte High School (FL). Corey Perkins (Delaware State freshman) & RJ Davis (North Carolina sophomore) were the only ones with a combination of 20 points and five steals in a game at the City of Palms Classic in 2019.
