Nationally ranked center Gai Chol from Greenforest Christian (GA) continues to draw significant interest from high major programs across the country.
Recently, Cincinnati offered him a scholarship adding to his total that also includes the likes of Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Georgia, St. John’s, Tulane and Xavier.
“Our relationship is cool,” he said of Cincinnati. “I have been to campus for a visit and been talking with the coaches.”
As of right now, the plan is to focus on the high school season and then potentially visit schools after. “Not yet, I am focusing on my school season so far,” he explained. “But hopefully soon I will be able to visit some.”
Chol is a four-star rated prospect by ESPN and 247 Sports, that offers obvious size at 7-feet and the potential to be a defensive ace at the next level.
“[Coaches like] me being versatile and playing multiple positions,” he said. “And my defense.”
