Nolan Causwell is a prospect that continues to improve his game and college coaches are taking notice.

Austin Peay and Southern Indiana recently offered him a scholarship with programs such as Cal State Fullerton, IUPUI, Portland State, Lincoln Memorial and Catawba also pursing him as well. St. Francis (NY), Radford, Hofstra and Iona have also offered him as well.

The junior college forward prospect has recorded back-to-back doubles-doubles for Laramie County CC (WY) with a 10-point, 11-rebound effort against Otero College and a 26-point, 10-rebound effort against Western Nebraska CC. His newest offers followed him big two-game span and more are likely to follow once he hits the hardwood again.

“Coaches like my ability to block shots,” he said. “And being able to play from any level offensively.”

In his last two games, Causwell is shooting 68-percent (15-22) and showcased his ability to control the glass, protect the paint and also step out and stretch the floor on offense.

Causwell doesn’t have any visits upcoming but he did recently have breakfast with Radford and while his recruitment remains open, he could be narrowing down to a few choices soon.

“I’m still wide open,” he explained. “But, I’ll be narrowing down my options here in the next few weeks.”
