2025 guard Christian Gilliland from ABC Prep (NM) recently added an offer from Green Bay, and new head coach Doug Gottlieb. It was the second offer for the 6-foot-2 prospect this summer with the other coming from UC Davis in May of this year, and he also received an offer from Air Force recently.
“[Green Bay] basically loves my potential,” he said. “And told me to keep playing how I’ve been playing.”
In addition to Green Bay, Air Force and UC Davis, several other programs are showing significant interest in Gilliland. These schools include Sam Houston State, New Mexico State, Illinois-Chicago, Air Force, South Dakota, Northern Colorado, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
Gilliland confesses that most coaches really like, “my athleticism, defense and hard work.” But despite being a good defender, he’s still working on, “mainly defense and shooting,” he said.
Gilliland’s recruitment is just getting started and I anticipate that many more programs will join the mix. As of right now, he admitted that he didn’t have any visits planned but did say that he, “plans on taking some soon.”
