Harris Reynolds, a point guard from the class of 2026, has seen a surge of interest from college coaches since they were permitted to contact prospects from his class. Now programs such as Rice, Southern Illinois, Radford, Belmont, Appalachian State, Kennesaw State, Virginia Tech, Penn, Dartmouth and Lipscomb are now actively pursuing him.

Additionally, he also added his first offer from Samford towards the beginning of the month, and has recently added an offer from Kennesaw State rounding out a busy recruiting month for a prospect that coaches are keeping their eye on.

“It was great,” he said of picking up the offer from Samford. “I had a great time getting to speak with their coaches and I think the staff and I are building a very good relationship.”

Kennesaw State, who was the last program to offer, recently hosted Reynolds for an unofficial visit. He had high praise for the institution and the experience.

“It was great. I got to see a practice and view the campus,” he said. “I have a great relationship with the staff.”

At this stage, coaches are particularly impressed with Reynolds’ scoring ability, athleticism, and defensive tenacity, but he wants to show them even more this summer.

“Mainly interior defense,” he said of what he wants to showcase to coaches this summer. “Being able to guard every position, one through five.”
