Justin Frison, a promising point guard from Houston High School in Memphis, Tennessee, recently received his first two Division I scholarship offers from Alabama State and Tennessee State.

“It felt good,” he said of adding the offers. “I definitely feel like I have to work even harder to meet the rising expectations.”

In addition to these offers, Frison is attracting interest from Arkansas-Little Rock, Bradley, and Troy.

Frison’s talent was on full display during his freshman year, earning him a spot on the TSSAA 4A District 15 second team. He does a lot of things well, but his poise at his age and ability to command an offense has stood out for coaches at the next level.

“I’m a great facilitator and I’m vocal,” he said. “Also, I encourage my teammates to be better each and every game. And if needed, I can score at will while keeping my teammates involved.”

This summer, Frison will be showcasing his skills with the Arkansas Hawks on the 3SSB circuit. He will be competing in Rock Hill, South Carolina, during the live period, where he hopes to continue impressing scouts and coaches.
