Inside the Numbers: 2024 Nike Peach Jam Day 2

Through two days at the Peach Jam, only eight teams remain undefeated. Team Takeover, the reigning defending Peach Jam champions, are 2-0 heading into Day 3 with a winning margin of 61. That is the largest win margin by a team through their first two games at the Peach Jam since at least 2019. Indy Heat in 2019 was the only other team in the data set with a winning margin of 60 during that span.

Drive Nation (TX) isn’t far behind with a winning margin of 43. They’ve won each of their first two games by 20 or more points, something only two teams have done over the last five Peach Jams through their first two games at the event (2023 Team CP3 & 2021 Team Thad).

This year’s Peach Jam is shaping up to be a defensive showcase. Four teams are currently holding their opponents under 50 points per game.

Fewest Points Allowed in 2024 Peach Jam

Teams this year are averaging 63.6 points per game through their first two games, the lowest average through the first two games across the last five Peach Jams.

Individually, the stars are still shining. Cameron Boozer led all 17u scorers with a 26-point game that included seven rebounds on 64-percent shooting. It’s his second consecutive 20-point game, with both performances featuring over 60 percent shooting from the field.

Boozer accounted for 35 percent of the offense for Nightrydas Elite (FL) in their 75-59 win over Arizona Unity (AZ) on Day 2.

Brayden Burries was a bright spot for SFG (CA), finishing with 25 points and nine rebounds in their 68-63 loss to City Rocks (NY). Burries accounted for 40 percent of SFG’s offense in the game, the highest of any player on Day 2.

The Oakland Soldiers (CA), spearheaded by the No. 1 player in both 2025 (AJ Dybantsa) and 2026 (Tyran Stokes), continued their impressive numbers on Day 2.

Dybantsa poured in 23 points and grabbed five rebounds. Dating back to last season, Dybantsa has scored 20 or more points in all seven of his games at the Peach Jam, shooting 50 percent or better in six straight.

Stokes finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. It’s his second straight double-double and second straight game with at least 10 rebounds and five assists.

Cornelius Ingram of the Florida Rebels had his biggest game of the Peach Jam so far, finishing with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists. Over the last two Peach Jams, he’s only the second Florida Rebels player with a 20-point double-double, joining Karter Knox in 2023 (24 points and 10 rebounds).

On the 16u level, Ashton Meeks led all scorers on the day with a 31-point effort on 53 percent shooting from the field and 54 percent shooting from deep. It’s the most points any player has scored at the Peach Jam this season at the 16u level.

After a 6-of-14 shooting night on Day 1, Christian Gibson of the Houston Hoops (TX) turned it around with a 26-point effort on 55 percent shooting. He also added two blocks and two steals to his stat line.

It far outpaces his first game that concluded with him scoring 9 points on 4-of-9 shooting.

On the 15u level, Tyler Sutton of Team Final (PA) led all scorers with 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting to go along with four assists and four rebounds in a win over Brad Beal Elite (MO).
