The third day of the Nike Peach Jam concluded, and Team Takeover (DC) is still winning games by wide margins.
Takeover has a winning margin of 93 points through their first three games, by far the highest of any team at the Peach Jam since at least 2019. They are winning games by an average of 31 points.
Impressively, they are holding opponents to 40 points per game, the fewest allowed by any team through their first three games at the Peach Jam since at least 2019.
WhyNot (CA) finished with 95 points in their win over Alabama Fusion, the second-most points scored by any team in this year’s Peach Jam so far. They also came up with 20 steals, the most by any team in a single game over the last five Peach Jams.
They improved to 3-0, their best record through three games at the Peach Jam over that same span.
Cheikh “Tounde” Yessoufou led the way for WhyNot with 29 points, eight rebounds, six steals, and two blocks. Yessoufou is just the fifth player since at least 2017 to record at least 25 points, five rebounds, and five steals in a game at the Peach Jam, joining 2022 Khalon Hudson, 2022 Ty-Laur Johnson, 2019 RJ Davis, and 2018 Isaac Okoro.
Furthermore, he is just the third player over that same span with multiple blocks and at least five steals in a single game at the Peach Jam, joining 2019 Kennedy Chandler and 2022 Liam McNeeley.
Kaden House finished with 28 points and three steals on 11-of-15 (73%) shooting, equaling his total scoring from the first two games of this Peach Jam (18 and 10 points). House, an ESPN five-star prospect, is ranked 14th in the class of 2026.
House’s teammate Brandon McCoy did a little bit of everything in their win over City Rocks (NY). He finished with 19 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
Brayden Burries recorded his second straight 20-point game with a 20-point, 10-rebound performance in a 98-67 win over Team Herro (WI). Burries has scored 20 or more points in three of his four games so far. His three double-doubles are the most by any player at the Peach Jam so far.
Cameron Boozer had 22 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and two steals. It’s his third straight 20-point game and second double-double.
