After the fourth day of the Nike Peach Jam, only five teams remain unbeaten: Team Takeover, Oakland Soldiers, WhyNot, Drive Nation, and Nightrydas Elite.
Day 4 featured a thrilling clash of titans when the Oakland Soldiers and UPlay Canada faced off in a nail-biter to see which team would remain undefeated.
The Soldiers secured a 73-65 victory after trailing entering the fourth quarter, outscoring UPlay 26-17 in the final period.
The duo of Tyran Stokes and AJ Dybantsa were on point as usual. Dybantsa has now tallied 20 or more points in eight consecutive games, finishing with 23 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals against UPlay. Stokes chipped in with 17 points and 10 rebounds, marking his third straight double-double. He remains the only player in this Peach Jam to record a double-double in every game.
The Oakland Soldiers have the 17th off, but a few other games have big implications. WhyNot (CA) and Team Takeover (DC) are set to square off today at 1:30 ET in a battle of the unbeatens. It’s the first time these two teams are meeting at the Peach Jam since at least 2019.
Also on the docket are the undefeated Nightrydas Elite. They are seeking a perfect 4-0, which is significant considering they won a total of four games at the 2023 Peach Jam.
At the 16U level, there were a few standout performances. Cameron Ryan of The Family (MI) dropped 37 points with eight rebounds, shooting 71 percent from the field. In Ryan’s first three games combined, he scored a total of 38 points.
Miikka Muurinen of Brad Beal Elite (MO) was equally sensational, posting 33 points, six rebounds, and four blocks. The four-star prospect, as rated by 247 Sports, doubled his scoring from his first game, where he netted 16 points on 60% shooting.
