2026 point guard Jordan Sigmon is a hot commodity with a lot of interest right now. The 6-foot-2 playmaker recently took a trip up to Western Michigan for an unofficial visit and left impressed with the atmosphere.
“It was a great visit,” he said. “Great atmosphere and an amazing campus. Loved the energy.”
Along with Western Michigan is a long list of suitors for Sigmon. Akron, Arkansas, Pitt, LSU, Portland, Missouri, Florida State, Toledo, Michigan, Cleveland State, Detroit, Old Dominion, Belmont, Alabama and Bowling Green are all following his progress.
Also among the crowd, Cal Poly offered him a scholarship in August. An unofficial visit to their campus, as well as one to LSU, is likely on the horizon, though those dates are yet to be locked in.
When it comes to choosing his next stop, Sigmon is in no rush but he knows what he’s looking for. A winning combination of academics and a system that suits his style-of-play are high on his checklist.
“I’m definitely looking for more a fast paced style of play,” he said. “And looking for great academics, which goes into what I want to major in marine biology.”
Sigmon is a prospect that has a lot of talent and describes himself as a player that can control the games tempo.
“They said they like how i change the pace of the game and my middy game,” he said of what coaches like the most about his game. “How I change pace in transition and make the right decisions.”
