2025 guard Jadyn Cooper has a healthy list of opportunities on his plate. Western Carolina, Coastal Carolina, VCU, East Carolina, Air Force, Shaw, Wingate, Flagler, UNC Charlotte, Presbyterian and North Carolina A&T are all following his recruitment, with a few more in the shadows.

Most of the coaches following his recruitment love his offensive game, but more so his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.

“They love how I defend on ball,” he said. “How I come off the pick and roll, my mid range game and being able to hit open shots.”

He continued by saying, “I can score at all three levels, I can get down hill very well and get to the bucket to finish or be a playmaker for my team. And, how hard I play on both ends of the ball.”

Coastal Carolina, one of the programs heavily interested in Cooper recently hosted him for an unofficial visit, and for his family, they know the place very well.

“That went well. They toured me around campus and I got to meet the players and the coaching staff,” he said. “I watched their practice and I really loved the atmosphere. My mom is alumni there so it really meant something to me being that I could possibly continue her legacy.”

As of now, there aren’t more unofficial visits upcoming for Cooper but he does have a few in mind. He just hasn’t set up the dates for that just yet.

“Western Carolina and East Carolina,” he said of his next stops for unofficial visits. “We are working on a date because Western got hit with a storm. And I am going back to Coastal [Carolina] soon.”
