2027 point guard Tre Keith of Tri-Cities High School (GA) has become an early priority for the Georgia Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs were the first program to offer him a scholarship, and the 6-foot-3 guard recently visited the campus for an unofficial visit. By all accounts, Keith’s experience in Athens hit nothing but net.
“It was great,” Keith said. “I loved it.”
While on campus, Keith caught an in-depth glimpse of Georgia’s basketball program and even joined in the electric atmosphere of a Bulldogs football game against Mississippi State.
“I saw the game. It was good,” he said. “The facilities were nice, and I got to watch their [basketball] practice as well.”
In addition to Georgia, Cincinnati, South Florida, and Kennesaw State have also offered Keith a scholarship, with several other programs tracking his progress.
The Bulldogs, however, are making a strong early push. Although Keith remains open in his recruitment, Georgia is leaving a positive impression on the young point guard.
“It’s a good relationship,” he said. “They’ve been showing love since they offered me. I like the coaching staff and the head coach.”
