Meet Baboucarr Ann, a class of 2027 prospect from Maple Grove High School (MN), standing at 6-foot-4 and capable of playing either guard position.
Recently, he had the opportunity to showcase his skills in front of coaches from DePaul, Minnesota, and St. Thomas University, and so far, the buzz around his game has been nothing but positive.
“Most coaches say they like my versatility, length, and leadership,” Ann explained.
Though it’s early in his recruiting journey, Ann is ready to take the next steps with the programs showing interest. He recently visited St. Thomas for an unofficial on October 11, and hinted that he’s “planning on visiting [Minnesota] in the next month or so.”
For now, as more schools start circling, Ann remains laser-focused on refining his game and proving he’s the total package. His improvement plan is all-encompassing, targeting every part of his skill set.
“My shooting, strength, and ball handling,” he said when asked about his areas of focus. “If I improve on those, I think I can be one of the top players in the country.”
