Recruiting is starting to pick up for 2026 guard Khalib Norcome, a 6-foot-6 prospect whose blend of size, athleticism, and versatility has caught the attention of college coaches.
Norcome said he’s hearing from a number of schools right now, including Seton Hall, Providence, Towson, Yale, Siena, New Hampshire, UMass Lowell, Lehigh, Southern Illinois, Le Moyne, Longwood and Brown.
One of the more recent programs to jump in with an offer is Siena, a school that’s been building a relationship with Norcome for a while now.
“I’ve been talking with one of their assistant coaches for a couple of months, ” he said. “Since the last DMV Live period. So I’ve been progressing in the right way, and the head coach got a chance to watch me play in person and said he loves me.”
The Saints told Norcome they’re big fans of how hard he plays and what he brings on the defensive end.
“They said they loved my ability to defend, switch multiple positions, and my athleticism, ” he added. “Especially how hard I play.”
Right now, Norcome doesn’t have any visits planned, but that could change as more schools get involved.
“Not as of right now,” he said. “Hopefully with more offers coming in, I’ll have the ability to start taking those visits.”
Heading into the summer, he’s locked in on continuing to grow his game and prove to coaches that he can make shots consistently.
“I’m really working on my ability to hit open shots and catch-and-shoot,” Norcome said.
