2026 Tre Mann Elite wing Herly Brutus Earns Multiple High-Major Offers After Impressive Spring

Herly Brutus, a 6-foot-7 small forward from The Villages Charter (FL) and a standout for Tre Mann Elite (FL) on the AAU circuit, has seen his recruitment take off this spring. The Class of 2026 prospect has quickly grabbed the attention of high major programs, earning scholarship offers from Dayton, East Carolina, LSU, Maryland, Mississippi State and Ole Miss in May alone. Florida State and TCU have also recently offered him a scholarship as well.

That list only scratches the surface of the interest Brutus is also hearing from Kansas State, Miami, Tennessee, Texas, USC, and Virginia Tech, among others.

For Brutus, the recent wave of offers has been a validating sign that his game will translate just fine to the next level.

“Coaches said that they love that I’m a 3-level scorer,” Brutus said. “They like how I can be versatile on both sides of the floor, and they feel like my game can translate to the next level.”

That combination of size, skill, and versatility has helped Brutus stand out, but it’s his relentless work ethic that’s driving his progression.

“I’ve really been working hard, and it shows,” he said. “Playing hard and being all about winning is something coaches like to see. I try to win every single day throughout every drill and workout I do.”

Brutus’ commitment to improvement is evident in his daily routine. His mornings start early with agility work at 6 a.m., followed by a regular workout, and then a focused shooting session to round out the day.

“I love having success, so why stop working to get it?” Brutus added.

While the recruitment process continues to unfold, Brutus hasn’t set any official or unofficial visits just yet, choosing instead to stay focused on sharpening his game and preparing for the next step.
