The opening day of the NBPA Top 100 Camp featured multiple standout performances, highlighted by a trio of 30-point scorers and several double-doubles across the board.
Qayden Samuels, a 2026 wing from Bishop McNamara (MD), recorded 33 points and 10 rebounds on 13-of-21 shooting from the field, including 5-of-9 from three-point range. Samuels is the only player in this year’s camp to post a 30-point double-double so far, and became just the sixth player since 2019 to reach that milestone at the event.
Jashawn “JJ” Andrews, a 2026 wing from Little Rock Christian Academy (AR), finished with 32 points and six rebounds on 12-of-20 shooting. He was one of three players to surpass the 30-point mark on the day.
Taylen Kinney, a 2026 guard out of Overtime Elite (GA), added 30 points, eight rebounds and five assists with only one turnover. Kinney shot 5-of-9 from three-point range and was the only player yesterday to record at least 30 points, 5 assist and 5 rebounds in a game.
Dylan Mingo, a 2026 guard from Long Island Lutheran (NY), had two standout games. He posted a 29-point, 10-rebound, 5-assist, 3-steal performance and followed with 29 points and five assists in another outing. Mingo is the only player at this year’s camp to score at least 25 points in multiple games and enters Day 2 as the camp’s leading scorer.
Deron Rippey Jr., a 2026 guard from Blair Academy (NJ), finished with 28 points, seven assists and three steals. Both Rippey and Mingo had games with at least 25 points, five assists and three steals. They are the only players at this year’s camp to reach those totals in a single game.
Colben Landrew, a 2026 wing from Wheeler (GA), tallied 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Collin Paul, a 2026 wing from Calvary Christian Academy (FL), recorded a 23-point, 13-rebound performance with three steals and two blocks. Paul’s 13 rebounds were the second most by any camper on Day 1.
Three players tied for the camp’s single-game high in blocks with six: Latrell Allmond, Ethan Taylor, and Davion Adkins. Allmond, a 2026 center from John Marshall (VA), also scored 23 points and hit 4-of-8 from deep. He is the first player since 2019 to record at least five blocks while hitting multiple three-pointers in the same game. Only Chet Holmgren and Jermaine O’Neal Jr. have previously reached five blocks and at least one three-pointer in a game at the camp.
Kalek House, a 2026 guard from Compass Prep (AZ), chipped in 17 points and four assists, shooting 5-of-8 from behind the arc. His five three-pointers were tied for the most by any camper at the event yesterday.
