Camden (NJ) point guard Cian Medley has heard from plenty of Division I programs since colleges were able to reach out to incoming high school juniors.
2021 five-star Harrison Ingram has narrowed down his list of schools to six with Harvard, Howard, Michigan, Purdue, Stanford, and North Carolina involved.
Since college coaches were able to speak to prospective 2022 recruits, Phillips Andover (MA) wing Emmanuel ‘Bube’ Momah‘s phone hasn’t stopped ringing.
Bryant, Manhattan, Siena, Quinnipiac, Marist, Holy Cross and Arkansas Little Rock have all offered scholarships with the latest coming from the staff at Dartmouth.
“My relationship is good. I talked with [David McLaughlin] over the phone and he said they like my game and have heard great things about me. Ideally they want me to come up to campus when things settle down,” Momah explained. “And I talked with [Justin Bradley] and he was excited to build a relationship with me moving forward.”
George Washington, California, Georgetown, East Carolina, Harvard and Stanford, among plenty others, have also reached out to express interest.
Momah is an athlete that has a lot of tools in his tool box and coaches appreciate his all around game.
“A lot of coaches have commented on my unique athleticism and size for my age,” he said. “Also they like my versatility and ability to play on the wing and post up.”
Right now, without basketball being played in most places, Momah is working hard on his game. He’s paying special attention to one part of his offensive game that should help his game moving forward.
“I’m working on becoming more consistent shooting the ball,” he said.
