2025 wing Christian Brown‘s recruitment has really picked up over the summer. Since may, Brown has received offers from James Madison, Murray State and Appalachian State. He also holds offers from Morehead State, Southeast Missouri State and Tennessee State.

Recently, schools like Samford, Memphis, Chattanooga, and Wyoming have reached out and will be monitoring his progress over the summer.

Murray State hosted the talented forward on June 15th, and Brown had nothing but good things to say about the staff and the program.

“The visit at Murray State went well. The hospitality was top tier. They showed a lot of love,” he said. “The coaching staff was cool, very personable and I had fun. We watched a lot of film on them and myself, to see how my game fits in their system. They really want me there. They said I was their number one guy at my position and they think I can be a great fit into their program.”

He also recently visited Belmont on June 17th, and Brown walked away impressed with their approach as well.

“They took me around campus and showed me more of the academic side,” he said. “I sat in and watched practice and their practice was more spread out with more three-point shooting.”

Brown is not just a standout athlete shooting an impressive 60 percent from the field in the EYBL circuit for Brad Beal Elite; he also boasts a remarkable 4.58 GPA.

Brown’s dedication to being a student-athlete ensures that academic offerings will play a decisive role in his decision-making process.

“Academics are very important to me. It will be a big factor in where I decide to go play basketball,” he said. “My coaches are always telling me ‘you’re a student first,’ so I take academics very serious.”

“So that’s going to play a big factor in where I want to go.”
