2021 wing Alex Fudge has been the talk of coaching circles nationally since his performances this summer.

South Florida, Wake Forest, Central Florida, USC, North Florida, Stetson, Louisiana-Lafayette, TCU, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M and Clemson have offered with Virginia Tech, Texas, Kansas, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Florida, Florida State, DePaul and Alabama interested.

“[Coaches like] my ability to guard the one through five, my athleticism and ability to play above the rim,” Fudge explained. “I’m long and athletic, and can flat out play ball most of them say. And they also love my personality.”

Clemson, which is about a six hour drive from Lee High School (FL), recently invited him to campus for an unofficial visit, where the Tigers also offered the emerging wing.

“I was excited, coming from a great place and great atmosphere, i felt nothing but good vibes there so to receive an offer was a blessing,” he said. “I love the campus but time will tell if I can fit in.”

He doesn’t have any more set dates for unofficials but plans on heading to Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Central Florida soon.

As for his recruitment? It’s still wide open and he doesn’t plan on narrowing down or planning any official visits until next year.
