Colorado, Colorado State, Wyoming, Air Force, Denver, Nebraska, Northeastern, Southern Utah, San Jose State, Stanford and Washington State are just some of the schools looking at 6-4 guard Dominique Clifford.

Washington State and Stanford are the latest schools to reach out and offer, and he discussed the two schools.

Washington State: They saw me in Phoenix actually. They saw me after the first time I played and they really liked my game. They think I can play the one, two and three, like most other schools, and they talked to me a little bit about having Klay Thompson go to their school. So that’s a big selling point for them.

Stanford: I definitely love the opportunity they present with academics as well as Pac 12 basketball. I have to see what they need me to do in order to get into their school first.

At the moment

Clifford is still open in his recruitment and hasn’t narrowed down just yet. He does plan to cut his list in a couple of weeks and possibly decide before the early signing period starts in November.

“I’m probably going to know after I do my five official visits,” he said. “I’m hoping to sign on the first November date (November 13th) if all goes well.”

He’s scheduled to take three official visits so far. He is going to Colorado State (August 23rd), Wyoming (August 30th) and Colorado (September 5th). He’s already taken unofficial visits to the three programs, but wants to head back to see more.

“Just getting to see campus lifestyle,” he said of what he wants to see on his official visits. “Like the real daily routines and stuff for all of them. On the unofficials, I got to see a lot of things but I didn’t get the full feel of everything on campus. So just getting to see everything in full effect.”
