2021 guard Jaden House transferred to Middleburg Academy (VA) and has seen improvement in his recruitment.

Old Dominion, Stetson, Howard, Mount St. Mary’s, VCU, Clemson, Kansas, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, Cincinnati and North Carolina State are currently recruiting the 6-4 guard.

“A lot of schools say they like my size at the guard spot,” he said. “And a lot say that they love how I can play on and off the ball.”

House has plans to take a visits in the near future, but due to some scheduling conflicts, he hasn’t been able to set them up just yet.

“I’m going to visit Cincinnati in the next coming week and should be attending an [Old Dominion] football game,” he said. “Still working on them right now and trying to work around my schedule and school.”

Since transferring, House has seen a lot of new schools emerge. Mount St. Mary’s offered in August, while Howard, Old Dominion and Stetson offered in June. It’s why the decision to reclass and transfer happened.

“I wasn’t really being seen at my old high school,” he said. “I had a local name but I’m getting a lot more attention with transferring to Middleburg.”
