Neumann-Goretti (PA) 6-foot-2 point guard Hysier Miller recently got on a Zoom call with Temple and enjoyed the presentation.
Neumann-Goretti coach John Brennan tweeted out a preview of the conversation on Twitter, and the theme was toughness.
“They’re looking for a tough point guard,” Miller said. “Basically, they want to build a tough program, with grittiness…a hard working program with winners.”
Penn State, Drexel, Hofstra, Wagner and Rider have offered so far, with a long list of program showing interest along with Penn and other Ivy League programs.
“A lot of coaches say that I play with a lot of pride on defense,” Miller explained. “They say I’m a hard worker and that I’m a dog.”
Right now, Miller said that he isn’t close to a decision and that as of right now, “I’m completely open and still looking forward to listening to anybody that wants to talk to me.”
