Northfield Mount Hermon (MA) 6-foot-10 center Gus Larson added another Ivy League offer.

This one coming from Pennsylvania, a program that can offer him a lot if he decided to attend.

“It’s a school that fits all of my needs,” Larson explained. “It’s a great basketball program with great academics. It’s a place that I can go to get me where I want to be basketball wise, while also setting me up for life.”

Richmond, Brown and Yale have also offered Larson, and all like similar things about his game.

“My versatility,” he said. “I’m big and long, but I can shoot outside and make decisions.”

As of now, it’s all about improving his game and making sure he continues to put himself in position to earn more scholarship offers from coaches. He’s been working on his game a lot throughout the pandemic with focus on just about every aspect of his game.

“Lately, I’ve been working a lot on my inside game and my handle as I’ve started to grow into my body more,” Larson said. “I’ve played more of a guard position my whole life. So adding the back to the basket piece helps me to be more well rounded.”

“Also, keeping up with my handle has helped me to be more efficient.”
