College coaches checking on 2021 forward Isaac Farah

Right now, both Division I and Division II programs are tracking Liberty Heights Athletic Institute (IN) forward Isaac Farah, who recently reclassified to 2021.

Since his reclassification, many programs have gotten involved with the latest offer coming from home state IUPUI, a Division I program in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He’s not narrowly focusing on one or the other and will select based on fit.

“Obviously the dream is Division I,” he said. “But, it’s all about finding the right fit for my family and myself.”

Limestone College, Tusculum, Western Carolina, UNC Asheville, Marist, Utah Valley, Kent State, William & Mary, Charleston Southern and Tulsa are also recruiting him, with Rider and Virginia Tech being the latest programs to reach out.

“[Coaches] they like my IQ and how I run the floor really well,” he said. “And the versatility of my game for my size.”

Farah has seen his recruitment start to pick up this summer as he inches closer to his senior season at the high school level. He’s been working throughout the pandemic to add facets to his game, and has improved by all accounts.

“I am working on using my off hand more,” Farah explained. “And mainly getting stronger in the weight room.”

Right now, the focus is on getting better. He doesn’t plan on narrowing down or deciding soon, but he does have an ideal situation in mind when it comes to picking a school down the road.

“Mainly, I am looking for a school that has a good business program,” he said. “And fits my style of play.”
